From Spencer Daily Reporter August 27, 1935

Eight school districts in Meadow township are consolidated into one tax area, Meadow-Langdon. The eight schools are under one board, a director from each district, a director-at-large, D.L.Ginger, who is also president of the board, a secretary, James L. Jackson, and a treasurer, Roy L.
