Christ the King Church

Spencer, Iowa

In the 1970’s First English Lutheran Church on East 10th Street was outgrowing its church and voted
to establish a second LC-MS congregation in Spencer. The goal was to build a church and eventually
add a Lutheran school. Christ the King Lutheran Church was organized in 1982.
