W. E. Henderson

In 1863 W. E. Henderson opened a shop to repair farm implements. In his opening advertisement he said:

Uncle Sam is hard to work. We must help by working the harder. So, the undersigned has opened the Burgess shop at the northeast corner of the public square in Osceola, to repair the farming implements for the people. Having had a long experience in the blacksmith business, and also on machinery of all kinds, I hope to accommodate all.
