Annie Tibken

Vintage photo taken by Egbert, Atlantic, Iowa. Handwritten on the back: "Annie Tibken, now Mrs. Boutcher, Mother's teacher." The 1905 Iowa State Census lists Anna Tibken living in the Audubon Twp. (rural Exira area), Audubon County, Iowa, where she taught Mary Vokt (the photo owner) in a township/country school. Annie M. Tibken (1882-1963) married George M. Bootjer (1873-1965) on June 26, 1905 in Franklin Twp., Cass County, Iowa. Annie and George operated a hardware store in Cumberland for many years.
