Mrs. & Mrs. George Baker of Aurelia celebrated their golden wedding anniversary recently; both born in Somersetshire, England & lived there 4 mi. apart.  Met in Iowa.  Mr. Baker came to US 1850; 5 yrs in New York; then to Dyersville, Iowa.  Married there.  Then to Buena Vista Co., Maple Valley Twp; sixteen yrs. ago to Aurelia. Daus: Mrs. Melvin Parrot, Mrs. Frank Parrot and George G. Baker at event. Guests: Mr. and Mrs. David Burns, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Allen, Mrs. E. D. Wall and Miss Eva Tutt.
