Mrs. Abraham Nygaard of Hanlontown attempted to light a fire in the range, and used kerosene for a quickener. Her burns were fatal. A ter¬rific explosion scattered burning oil on the victim's clothes, and her body, head and hands were terribly burned. She lived for 48 hours in terrible agony before death relieved her.
