Linsey Lane

April 14, 1951 - January 6, 2025

Linsey H. Lane, 73, of Sioux City, died Monday, January 6, 2025, at his home, with family and loved ones around him. He died due to health complications, with lung cancer being the biggest contributor.

Linsey was born on April 14, 1951, in Sioux City, the son of Everett and Viola (Hoover) Lane. He attended Central High School where he was very active in many school sports, two of them being football and pole vaulting, graduating in 1969. August 29, 1970, Linsey got married to Jeanne Louise Fuchser of Sioux City.

Linsey worked at Grainger for many years. In Sioux City and Fargo, N.D., where he and his family lived from 1978-1982, returning to Sioux City in '82. Linsey and Jeanne owned a comedy club for years in Sioux City. Linsey also owned his own bowling alley at Evergreen Park. He also worked off and on at Plaza Bowl for over 20 years. Although he was active in many sports, bowling remained his biggest passion. He has bow
