William Gary Kennedy

William Gary Kennedy, 70, of Sioux City, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at a local hospital.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.

Bill was born May 7, 1953, in Norwalk, OH, the son of Frank and Ruth (Penick) Kennedy. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during Vietnam. Bill spent the majority of his working years in the confectionary industry and retired as Vice President of Operations at Palmer Candy Company. He enjoyed watching football and playing golf.

Bill is survived by his wife Arlene; sons: Nick and Seth (Heather); stepson: Brandon (Katie); grandchildren and step grandchildren: Cole, Carsten, Cillian, Everett, Gabriel, Liam, Abigail, Rosalie, Byron, and Theodore; brother: Mike (Jeannie); sisters: Dianne (Walter), Patty (Joe), and Laura (James); and nieces, great nieces, and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
