HYMENEAL.
Last Friday evening, May 8th, Mr. Gerhard Jorgenson and Miss Sophia Krogh were united in marriage. The ceremony was performed by Rev. I. B. Torrison. Mr. and Mrs. Jorgenson departed on the evening train for parts unknown. The event is one which has been expected by the friends of the bride and groom for some time, the only surprise occasioned being that they were able to keep the exact date a secret. The groom, as is well known, is Winneshiek’s efficient county treasurer. The bride is a young lady of Portland, N. D., who has made her home in Decorah for several years. Both have a host of friends and acquaintances who entertain the highest regard for them and extend a wealth of good wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
