Brings Bride from South Dakota.
At Centerville, S. D., on Wednesday of last week, the 22d, inst., Thomas Haugen and Miss Helen Marie Vasgaard were united in marriage. The groom is one of the well known and enterprising young farmers of Springfield township, a son of Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Haugen, and the bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Vasgaard of Centerville. They arrived in Decorah yesterday and went at once to the groom’s farm where they will make their home. The bride is not unknown in the community of which she becomes a resident, as she has numerous relatives there and has been a visitor among them at different times. That Mr. and Mrs. Haugen may enjoy a long and happy wedded life is the wish of all who know them.
