Married Fifty-five Years.
On Thursday last Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Hanson, residing on the west side, passed the fifty-fifth anniversary of their marriage. On account of Mr. Hanson’s feebleness no attempt was made in the way of celebration but a number of friends called to pay their respects and the choir of the First Lutheran church sent them an Easter lily. Mr. and Mrs. Hanson have resided here about twelve years, their previous home being in McGregor. Mr. Hanson is eighty and his wife seventy-three years of age.
