On Hymen’s Court.
This afternoon at four o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents on east Main street, Miss Clara Fredericka Jaeger will become the bride of Gervais Young Fais. The knot will be tied by Rev. O. E. Schmidt in the presence of a small company of relatives and friends, and Mr. and Mrs. Fais will depart on the evening train for Chicago and Rochelle, Ill., later going to Iowa City. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Jaeger and grew to womanhood in Decorah. She is a graduate of Decorah high school and later supplemented this education by a course in the business department of Valder college. During the past two years she has been employed in a responsible position at Spencer and it was during her residence there that her acquaintance with the groom was formed. Mr. Fais is associated with his father in the contracting business and is one of the substantial young men of Spencer. Friends both in Decorah and Spencer join in felicitations and the wish that Mr. and Mrs. Fais will have a long and happy married life. They will be at home after February 15th at Spencer.
