The marriage of Anton Smith to Emma Balk was announced Sunday at the Catholic church.

The marriage of Emma Balik, daughter of Mrs. Wenzel Balik, to Anton Smith, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Smith, both of this place, occurred Tuesday morning, June 25th, at 10 o’clock at St. Wenceslaus Church. The bridesmaids were Mayme Smith, sister of the groom, and Mary Prashek, neice{sic} of the bride, from Mason City. Frank Balik and Louis Smith, brothers of the bride and groom were the best men. The bride is an accomplished young lady and is highly esteemed by her many friends. The husband of her choice is an industrious and energetic young man, and at present is conducting a business at Mason City, where these young people will make their home. We join with their numerous friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy married life.
