—Alferd{sic} Daniels died near Lehigh, last week. He was 5 ft. 9 in. high, and girted 5 ft. 11 in., weighing 480 pounds. Some years ago he traveled with a circus as a “fat boy” freak. Since then he has been a farmer, actively managing his own affairs.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Alfred who was born Dec. 6, 1859 and died March 13, 1899. He is buried in West Lawn Cemetery.
