Killed By a Live Wire
“That live wire is liable to cause the death of some one,” said Ben Short, an employe of the Fort Dodge Light and Power company, as he was preparing to leave for home, and in the face of his own warning he grasped the wire and attempted to hang it over a rail, falling to the floor dead.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Oakland Cemetery in Fort Dodge and was born June 7, 1871 and died February 12, 1908.
