Mrs. Kern Dies Sunday

BRIGHTON - Mrs. Anna I. Kern, 93, died about noon Sunday at the Long Term Care Center Washington County Hospital where she had been a patient for two years.

The service will be Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m., at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton with the Rev. Wayne Wilken officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery at Brighton.

She was born Oct. 28, 1883 near Brighton. She was the daughter of Joseph and Laura Armstrong Myers. She was married to George C. Kern on Nov. 17, 1909. He died June 10, 1945. Their only son, Ralph, died Nov. 28, 1975.

Mr. and Mrs. Kern lived on a farm south of Brighton. Mrs. Kern had spent almost all of her life in the Brighton area.
