Linda Kay Wiley (formerly Linda Kay Baker) died on January 3, 2025 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born in Jefferson, Iowa on June 20, 1943 to Harold and Gladys (Lounsberry) Baker. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1961. On August 1, 1965 she was married to her college sweetheart, Terry L. Wiley of Wapello, Iowa. Her parents and husband preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Todd and wife Barbara of Scottsdale, Arizona, grandson Alex and granddaughter Brooke, also of Scottsdale, Arizona, her brother Kent Baker and wife Bonnie Baker of Rapid City, South Dakota, and a few close friends in Maricopa, Arizona, Jefferson, Iowa, Wapello, Iowa, Waunakee, Wisconsin, the Madison, Wisconsin area and others spread across the United States.
Linda graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1965. She taught for a few years in Edgewood, Iowa and in preschools. She worked for First Federal Savings Bank of Madison, Wisconsin including as branch manager of the Waunakee office. She loved music and was a gifted piano player and continued to play throughout her life. Linda loved sports and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, the Wisconsin Badgers, and the Arizona Diamondbacks. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed attending their ballgames.
