Cecil W. Hudson, 80, died Friday, July 28, 1989 at Franciscan Medical Center in Rock Island.
He was born June 28, 1909 in Salem; and raised in that area. He married Beth Nixon, formerly of Stockport on June 27, 1943, in Kahoka, Mo. The couple lived in Galesburg, Ill. prior to moving to Rock Island.
Hudson is survived by his wife; one daughter, Jeri Bolis, Milan, Ill.; five sons: Terry, Galesburg, Duane, Colona, Ill., Rodney, Rock Island, Rickey, Seattle, Wash., Alan, Davenprt(err); eight grandchildren; and one sister, Lucille Douglas, Mount Pleasant.
Services for Hudson was held Monday, July 31, 1989 at 2 p.m. at Hodgson Funeral Home in Rock Island with burial in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.
Memorials may be left to donor's favorite charity.
