Elizabeth E. Harlan

Elizabeth E. Harlan, 101, died in her home at Mountain Home, Arkansas March 13, 1989. She was a former Bonaparte, Iowa resident.

Mrs. Harlan was a retired schoolteacher and a member of the First Baptist Church, Bonaparte, where she taught Sunday School for 50 years.

Her parents were Samuel and Alice DeRosear Holmes. She married Roscoe Harlan who also preceded her in death along with three brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are two sons, Gerald Harlan of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Earl Harlan of West Lafayette, Indiana, and four grandchildren.

Services were held March 17, 1989 at Roller Chapel with Pastor Troy Melton officiating. Burial was in Baxter Memorial Gardens.

Roller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
