Audrey Oletha Sedore

Audrey Oletha Sedore, daughter of Silas Newton and Nettie Spencer Russell, was born August 9, 1895 in Van Buren County near Troy and died Friday night, February 10, 1989 at Scotland County Memorial Hospital, Memphis, Missouri at the age 93.

On January 31, 1915 she married Harvey H. Sedore at Milton. They lived seven years in Nebraska, lived briefly near Luray, Missouri and spent most of their life farming in Van Buren County. Mr. Sedore died in 1972. Mrs. Sedore moved to Milton later that year and to Cantril in 1973.

Surviving are two sons, Russell of Bentonsport and Doyle of Luray, Missouri; five daughters, Ethelyn Helton, Memphis, Missouri, Pearl Petit, Naples, Florida, Hazel Reisch, Cantril, Nettie Duke, Memphis, Missouri and Donna Van Lanningham, Fairfield; 31 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wilma Atkins, Keosauqua. A brother, John Russell preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 14, 1989 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with Reverend Lester Terlouw officiating. Interment was in Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton.
