COLE PETERSON, Lorimor

Cole Thomas Peterson, 25, of Lorimor died July 21, 2007, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, at the Word of Life Family Church, Hwy. 169 South, Winterset. Visitation will be from 3–8 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at the church where the family will receive friends from 5–8 p.m.

Cole Peterson was born April 29, 1982, in Des Moines to Mike “Pete” and Jessica (Summers) Peterson and was a graduate of East Union High School. His marriage to Cassie Peterson took place May 13, 2003. Cole was a musician who played guitar, sang and wrote lyrics. He also worked at the Afton preschool for three years. He attended Word of Life Family Church and the Cornerstone Family Church during his lifetime.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Pat Heuton, and paternal grandfather, George Newsom.

He is survived by his wife, Cassie, of Lorimor; one daughter, Sidney Elizabeth Peterson at home; his parents, Pete and Jessica Peterson of Lorimor; a brother, Michael Peterson II of Lorimor; and his paternal grandmother, Helen Newsom of West Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
