Dorothea Collier, Creston
Services for Dorothea Collier, 60, of Creston were 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at the First Christian Church. She died Friday, September 7, at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
The Rev. Robert L. Pickerell, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiated the service. Music was provided by Jean Boyd, organist, and Don Wilson and Mary Collier, Vocalists. Burial was in the Harmony Cemetery, rural Creston.
Pallbearers were Mark Strain, Jason Keimig, John Hays, Jason Crawford, Steven White, Jim Collier, and Dale and Jerry Young. Honorary pallbearers were Harold Kilgore, Louis White, and Wayne Palmer.
Mrs. Collier was born Aug. 8, 1930 [to Charles Jerry Kilgore and Daisy Mildred Brown] in Union County. She was a homemaker and cleaned homes for 10 years.
Survivors include her husband [John Wesley Collier] three daughters, two sons, her parents, and two sisters.
