Edith Warren, 89, of Lorimor died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Ringgold County Hospital in Mt. Ayr, IA.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Powers Funeral Home in Afton. Pastor Dwayne Henrichs will officiate.
Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery east of Afton.
Visitation will be 2-7:00 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2018, with family receiving friends 5-7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home in Afton. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made in Edith's name.
Edith Louisa Warren was born September 24, 1928 in Ringgold Co., IA to Joseph Martin Campbell and Bertha Lois (Keller) Campbell. She attended school in Shannon City, Lorimor and Benton, IA and graduated from Delphos High School.
On April 3, 1946, Edith married Dale Warren in Tipton, Iowa. They lived first by Stanwood, Iowa, then moved south of Lorimor in 1951, where she has continued to live. Edith was a homemaker and farmwife and was a member of the Royal Neighbor Lodge. Dale died in 1992.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (husband Bill) Kreinbring of Des Moines, Iowa; one son, Charlie Warren (significant other Wendy Gose) of Afton and five grandchildren; five brothers: Dale Campbell of Clearfield; Melvin (wife Alice) Campbell of Phoenix, Ariz.; Clyde Campbell of Kentucky; Ron Campbell of Colorado; Bob Campbell of Yuma, Ariz.; two sisters, Donna (husband Glen) Adams of Oklahoma. and Zelda (husband Dave) Winslow of Davenport, Iowa.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dale Warren, and two brothers, Marvin Campbell and Paul Campbell, as a child.
