Ground to Death in a Mill.
MASON CITY, Dec. 17.—A frightful accident occurred here to-day by which R. S. Drew met a horrible death. He was employed in Parker’s mill and went to the basement to fix some of the machinery. As he did not return the engineer went down to ascertain the cause of his long delay and found that he had in some way been caught by the core wheel and literally ground to pieces. The mutilated remains were gathered up and carried to the undertaker's establishment. His wife and family are paralyzed with grief.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1852 and is buried in Buckingham Cemetery in Traer.
