Howard J. Snider, 51, of Nevada, Iowa passed away June 17, 2012. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, June 22nd at Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23rd at Cornerstone Church in Ames.
Howard J. Snider was born June 6, 1961 to Merle and Elizabeth (Dean) Snider in Ft. Madison, Iowa. Howard married Robin Barnett on October 12, 1991. He was a sergeant in the Ames Police Department, serving 23 years. Howard was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. His interests included Leather for Lefties and he was an avid outdoorsman.
Howard is survived by his wife Robin Barnett Snider, son Nathan John Snider, and daughter Marisa Lynne Snider, all of Nevada; and his sister Cindy Roberts of Ft. Madison, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
