ROCK VALLEY:
A quiet wedding occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Haman residing six miles south of Rock Valley when their daughter, Anna was given in marriage to Gotlieb Gayer on Tuesday, September 10th in the presence of relatives and a few intimate friends. Rev. E. H. Gillman pastor of the Lutheran Church officiated. The bride is an excellent young lady, and possesses many of the essential qualities that go to make a good helpmate. Mr. Gayer is a sturdy, industrious tiller of the soil and has lived in his immediate community for many years. He is a genial fellow and liked and esteemed by his many friends. The writer with their many friends extend congratulation and best wishes in their new and happy marital relation. They will continue to live on the farm which he has operated a number of years, the old homestead.
