From the Sioux County Capital, October 20, 1988, p. 8:

Four generations of the Becker family got together to accept the Century Farm award at ceremonies at the Iowa State Fair, Norma Becker of Le Mars, Mrs. Harold Gladys Eileen (Becker) Vlieger of Maurice, Mrs. Darrel (Jenet) Barents and children Renae, Jerris and Jennie of West Bend, Iowa. Henry F. Becker purchased 110 acres near Maurice in Sept. 1888. His son, Louis E. Becker, took over the farmng after his father's retirement. Louis' wife, Jennie, carried on after his death in 1934. Gladys Vlieger is the present owner.
