Harlan, Iowa, May 10, 1883; s/o Edwin & Elizabeth (Watters); ed. at Univ. of Iowa, B.A., 1906, M.S., 1910, M.D., 1911; varsity football team three years, track team two years, president athletic union, memb. University committee, class president, Sigma Xi; initiated by Iowa Beta, Feb. 11, 1905 (charter member), eminent archon; staff General hospital Montreal; author studies in Cardiac Arrythmia; formerly instructor in biology at University of California.
