Funeral services for Mrs. Hans (Sophie) Krohn, 78, Walcott, were held at Runge chapel, Davenport, Feb. 28 with burial in Davenport Memorial park cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Walcott Rescue unit.

Mrs. Krohn, who lived with her son, Herman, at Walcott died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport Feb. 26.

Sophie Schoenfield was born in Hamburg, Germany Feb. 3, 1905. She married Hans Krohn in Germany Oct. 31, 1925. They farmed near New Liberty for many years. He preceded her in death in 1961.

She is survived by her son, Herman; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; a sister and 2 brothers in Germany.
