John Fred. Theodore Minman was born Feb. 7, 1844, in Poglitz, Germany, and died April 14, 1906, aged 62 years, 2 months and 7 days. He came from Germany to this country in 1868 and was married to Miss Sophie Wilks in 1873. He was a member or the German Lutheran church. He leaves
his wife, one son and two daughters to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held at the home Monday forenoon at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. I. M. Hargett, of the M. E. church. At the conclusion of the services all that was mortal of Fred Minman, followed by a large number of friends and neighbors, was brought to Newell and laid at rest in the cemetery.
