Mrs. C.H. Ennis died January 14th, 1889, at Clearfield, Iowa, of inflammation of the bowels, Mrs. C.H. Ennis, formerly of Tingley. She leaves a husband and four children, and a large circle of friends both here and at Clearfield, to mourn her loss. She was a faithful member of the Baptist church, and said she was not afraid to die. She retained consciousness until death released her from all suffering.
