June, 1978OBITUARY - EARL LEE STONE
Earl Lee STONE, son of James and Kathryn STONE, passed away June 10, 1978 of injuries from a car accident. He was born July 23, 1961 at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr, Iowa.
He is survived by his parnets, Jim and Kathryn STONE; one sister, Hazel; one brother, Max; his grandmother, Merle STONE WILLIAMSON; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Kay; Grandfather Howard STONE; Grandfather and Grandmother Alfred and Marie ADKISSON.
He was a very energetic boy, always working on a project. He was a very special boy to everyone who knew him. He was president of the Benton Bearcat 4-H Club.
Funeral services were held June 13 from the Diagonal Community High School with the Rev. Greg CREECH and the Rev. Phil KINTON officiating. Mrs. William HAROVER accompanied Mrs. Robert FISHER and Joan FISHER, who provided music. Casketbearers were Ed SOBOTKA, Bart PARKER, Steve CLARK, Tim SOBOTKA, John SOBOTKA and Kevin NIELSEN. Interment was in the Rose Hill cemetery at Mount Ayr.
