OBITUARY- BEATRICE GRACE "BEA" TUTTLE

Beatrice Grace TUTTLE passed away Feb. 23, 2008, in Paso Robles [California].

Bea was born in June of 1914 in the city of Benton, Ringgold County, Iowa. Bea along with her mother, Bessie, and three sisters, Cleo, Nellie and Mary, moved to Colorado and back to Iowa. After Bea was married her new family moved to Santa Maria in 1938. They next moved to Nipomo on one parcel of their properties, farming and raising small livestock. This was a favorite period for the grandchildren, baking bread and playing on the farm will always be remembered. Bea loved to read and play golf. But one of her great loves was square dancing, Bea and Al would travel all over with a group and dance from Palm Springs to Mt. Shasta.

Her last home was with many friends in Atascadero. For many years she was active in the Eagles. From 1945 to 1959, she was employed as the assistant manager at PMT Trucking.

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend is survived by daughters, Patricia MOUNTS CARTWRIGHT of Alameda and Sandi MOUNTS BONESO of Paso Robles; and her step-son, Freddie TUTTLE and wife Pam CONRAD of Bullhead, Ariz.; grandchildren who love and miss her, Alana LUCHTMAN and husband, Joe of Lakeview; Alan CARTWRIGHT and wife Chris of Alameda; Rene RASMUSSEN LEATHAM and husband, Russell of Arroyo Grande; John BONESO and wife, Jocelyn of Menlo Park; Robert BONESO and wife, Gina of Paso Robles; and Steven BONESO and wife, Maryanne of San Miguel; great-grandchildren Emily LUCHTMAN of Lakewood; Mitchell CARTWRIGHT of Alameda; Brie, Stephanie, Cody LEATHAM of Arroyo Grande; Giovonni, Gabriella BONESO of Menlo Park; Robby, Amber BONESCO of Paso Robles; Wesley, Maggie BONESO of San Miguel; Richard TUTTLE of Nipomo; Casey TUTTLE of Santa Maria; and Rowdy TUTTLE of Bakersfield; and one sister, Mary HERNDON of Missouri.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick Albert TUTTLE, and son Mitchell MOUNTS.

The family invites you to join in a celebration of life for Bea Tuttle on Saturday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at Camino Del Roble Estates, 1215 El Camino Real, Atascadero The ashes will be entered at the family plot in Santa Maria. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made in Bea's name to Hospice of San Luis Obispo County or to your favorite charity.
