Friday, November 18, 1994OBITUARY - IRMA MAY MOSBARGER
Irma May MOSBARGER, 80, of 940 Valleyview Dr., Marion, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1994, in her home after a sudden illness. Services 9 a.m. Saturday, Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, where friends may call from 5 to 7 tonight. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr.
Survivors include three sons, Richard and wife Sara of Carmel, Ind., Robert and wife Sharon of Lago Vista, Texas, and Raymond of Chariton; two daughters, Nancy PHILLIPS and husband Irving of Richmond, Va., and Thrisha AUGE and husband Timothy of Fort Madison; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-niece, Sharyn HARRIS and husband Don of Cedar Rapids; other relatiives; and a host of friends.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, two brothers and two sisters.
Born Dec. 5, 1913, in Mount Ayr to Edward and Anna JOHNSON STRINGHAM, she married Robert A. MOSBARGER on Feb. 17, 1934, in Leon. He died in 1959. Irma retired as a sales clerk from Sears at Lindale Plaza. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.
