OBITUARY.
DIED, on July 8th, 1879, Mrs. Elizabeth MITCHELTREE, at Mt. Ayr, Ringgold county, Iowa, in the 30th year of her age. Her maiden name was McELHENHY. Mrs. MITCHELTREE was born and brought up near Jamestown, Pa. She early united with the Reformed Presbyterian church of Greenville, Pa., and at the time of her death was still a member of the Reformed Presbyterian church, of Adamsville, Pa., She came west about one year ago, and was esteemed among Christians at Mt. Ayr, Iowa, as a humble, consistent, devoted Christian. She was attached to her church, and read the Statesman and Reformed Presbyterian. She gave the best evidence of being a Christian, "a living epistle of Christ, read and known of all men." She leaves a sad husband and three children. "Blessed are the dead." - Rev. J. H. TELFORD.
