OBITUARY - SIMONE DENCS WARRICK

Simone WARRICK, 88, of Mesa, AZ and formerly of Chandler, passed away April 25, 2009 in Mesa. Born in Boulogne, France, she met and married her husband, Frank WARRICK, while he was stationed in Paris with the US Army during WW II. In the US, they lived in Creston, IA, Mount Ayr, IA, and in 1954 they moved with their two young children to Chandler, AZ, where they attended the First Baptist Church of Chandler. They moved to Mesa in 1980.

Simone is survived by her children, Francie DENCS and Alden (Evelyn Lucia SANCHEZ) WARRICK; grandchildren, Kristin COX (Dale), Richard DENCS (Megan), and David WARRICK; and three great-grandchildren, Madeline, Amelia, and Richard.

She is preceded in death by her husband, and a grandson, Nathan DENCS.

Services were held May 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., Rose Hill Cemetery, Mounty Ayr, Iowa, with Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home of Mount Ayr in charge of arrangements.
