OBITUARY - NEENA M. (BAKER) MILLS

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, in Jennings- McCall Assisted Living Center, 2221 Oak St., Forest Grove, for Neena M. MILLS, who died Nov. 17 at age 79 Ms. MILLS was born June 26, 1921, in Knowlton, Iowa, and moved to Oregon when she was 6. Her maiden name was BAKER. She graduated from high school in Philomath. She moved to Cottage Grove in 1946. She was a waitress and a bartender. Then, she lived on the Oregon coast and in Florence, Ariz., before moving to Forest Grove two years ago. She married Murray BLODGETT; they were later divorced. She married George McMURRICK in 1942. After they divorced in the late 1980s, she changed her last name to MILLS.

Survivors include her sons, Danial McMURRICK and George McMURRICK Jr.; daughters, Ann McMURRICK and Eva HEINKEL; sister, Retha OVERTON; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren The family suggests remembrances to Jennings- McCall Assisted Living Center. Arrangements are by Forest Grove Memorial Chapel.
