DR. C. R. FEURING

Word was received here Monday of the death of Dr. C. R. FEURING at his home near Kellerton following an extended illness. The funeral was held at the Methodist church at Kellerton on Tuesday afternoon and burial was in the Kellerton [Maple Row] cemetery. Dr. FEURING and family lived here several years before going to Kellerton. He practiced as veterinary here for several years. He leaves a wife and six children, three boys and three girls.

Mr. and Mrs. James KOSAR and Mrs. STICKENS attended the funeral of Dr. FEURING held at Kellerton on Tuesday afternoon.

NOTE: Dr. Charles Raymond FEURING, son of Frederick C. FUERING (1849-1917) and Martha Ellen (AVERILL) (1849-1925), was born May 27, 1883, Joliet, Will County, Illinois, and died at his home in Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa, at the age of 60 years on April 1, 1944. He married Katherine NOLTE and was the father of three daughters and three sons, Warren R. FEURING born in 1914, Rudolph R. FEURING born in 1916, and Elmer C. FEURING born in 1918.
