OBITUARY.
Miss Nellie, only daughter of Rev. and Mrs. J. E. HALL, pastor of the Evangelical church at Wirt, died April 19, 1894, aged thirteen years, five months and fifteen days. Nellie suffered with the dread disease diptheria fever for about two weeks, but the monster death has prevailed, and she has gone to be with Him who said: "Suffer little children to come unto Me and forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of heaven." She died happy in the Lord exclaiming at the last, "It is getting lighter now." Nellie by her winsome ways has gathered to herself a large number of friends and playmates. May the Lord bless and bind the hearts of the stricken parents and grant them a happy reunion in the world where death never comes. The parents extend their thanks to the friends for their sympathy shown in the affliction.
-W. J. C.NOTE: Nellie HALL was interred at Ellston Cemetery, Ellston, Ringgold County, Iowa. Her gravestone is inscribed, "Dau. of J.E. and H. B."
