OBITUARY.

Robert H. GORSUCH, son of John and Ann GORSUCH, was born December 17, 1851, in Beaver county, Pennsylvania, and died May 17, 1931, at his home in Kellerton, Iowa, age 80 years, five months. When seven years old he moved to Monroe county, Iowa, with his parents, where he grew to manhood, later coming to Ringgold county. In 1877 he was united in marriage to Jennett RICHARDSON. To this union were born three children, Earl and John having preceded him in death. He and his family made their home in Riley township and in 1918 he moved to Kellerton. In early manhood he united with the Methodist church and always lived a faithful christian life, attending church and devotional services as long as health permitted. He was a patient sufferer for several years and was always grateful for the care given him by his devoted companion. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, who is ill and unable to attend services, his daughter, Mrs. Perry O. BROWN, four great (sic) grandchildren, Wilbur, Troy and Helen GORSUCH and Leroy BROWN, one great grandchild, four brothers, one sister and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral service was held from the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. YOUNG. Burial at the Mt. Zion cemetery [Ringgold County].

NOTE: Jennett "Jennie" (RICHARDSON) GORSUCH, wife of Robert H., was born in 1858 and died in 1942 with interment at Mount Zion Cemetery. John GORSUCH, son of Jennie and Robert H., was born on October 3, 1881, and died on September 30, 1912 with interment at Mount Zion Cemetery. Earl GORSUCH was born June 19, 1884 and died September 1, 1893 with interment at Mount Zion Cemetery.
