OBITUARY.

Near Maloy, Iowa, death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. GLOVER and claimed their youngest child, Charley Olyn. He was born Dec. 19, 1891, and died Sept. 18, 1895, being 3 years 9 months and 8 days old.

He was of a kind and loving disposition and won the hearts of all who knew him. He died of congestion of the brain. All was done that loving hands could do, but of no avail, and in a short time death ended his sufferings.

The parents have the sympathy of their many friends in this sad bereavement, but they are comforted by the thought that although their darling an never come back to gladden their home, but when Christ will come to make up his jewels that little Olyn will be among that happy number, for He hath said, "suffer little children to come until me for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."

The funeral was preached by B. H. WATKINS, of the Christian church, at the family residence, after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery west of Maloy [Platte River Cemetery], there to await the resurrection morn.

CARD OF THANKS.

Mr. and Mrs. GLOVER wish to extend thanks to their many friends who assisted them in the sickness and death of their little boy Olyn.
