OBITUARY - VICTOR MILTON GLICK

Victor Milton GLICK, 72, died Friday [May 14, 2004] at his home in McCook [Nebraska].

He was born June 20, 1931, at Ringgold County, Iowa to Milton Dority and Pearl Racheal (FANNING) GLICK. He attended school in Ellston, Iowa.

On October 20, 1951, he entered the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged on October 14, 1955.

In 1974, he came to the McCook community where he was employed by Western Engineering. He was a dirt foreman for over 30 years until his health required him to retire. He was a life-time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and McCook Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his five brothers, Dallas, Louis, Elmer, Haymond and Donald GLICK; and three sisters, Alberta GLICK, Emma Jean SUMMERVILLE and Mary GROSS.

Survivors include his sister, Shirley GLICK of Apache Junction, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services are Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Carpenter Breland Chapel with Jerry BECKENHAUER officiating. Inurnment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
