DEATH of A. B. DUNCAN.

A. B. DUNCAN, well known and highly respected citizen of Shannon City, passed away early Friday morning, December 23, at his home after a lingering illness of several months. He leaves to mourn his death his devoted wife Florence, and four children, who were all with their father during his last illness, Mrs. Henry HOWE of Orient, Amy of Omaha, Mrs. Walter TINDLE of Shannon City and William, who resides with his parents, and one grandchild, Margaret TINDLE. Mr. DUNCAN also leaves two brothers, William and Harve DUNCAN of Creston, and one sister, Margaret DUNCAN of Omaha, and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Afton Catholic church Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by his pastor, Father GAULE, and interment was at Oakland cemetery near Shannon City.
