NOTICE of DEATH.

DIED--At her late residence in Mt. Ayr, Iowa, on Saturday, Sept. 4, 1886, Mrs. C. [Carrie G.] DuBOIS, in her 46th year.

She was born in Jefferson county, Ill., Nov. 25, 1840, and was married in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Jan. 22, 1865, and came with her family to Ringgold county in 1875.

She leaves a husband, two sons and four daughters, to mourn, one child having preceded her to the Great Beyond. She had long been a devoted and consistent member of the M.E. church. She was a most kind and affectionate woman thoroughly devoted to her family. She was sick about two weeks. The funeral services were held in the M.E. church, in connection with those of Mrs. DeLASHMUTT, Rev. P. J. VOLLMAR officiating. Thus hath another brave woman gone to her reward, in a house not made with hands eternal in the heavens.

NOTE: Carrie G. (?) DuBOIS was 45 years, 9 months and 10 days old at the time of her death. She was interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa.
