NOTICE of Death.

Annie May, daughter of Wm. H. and M. A. DORRIS, died, Nov. 2d, 1881, aged 4 years, 11 months, and 29 days.

A loved one is gone from our family circle,
One of the pure and bright,
She has gone to dwell with the angels
In that beautiful land of light.
She has gone to rest with Jesus,
Her sufferings now are o'er.
Our darling little Annie
Has gone to the beautiful shore.
She is missed as a link from our family
But very wicked that would be,
To wish her back for a moment
If only that could be.
She is saved from the scorns of the wicked;
Her Savior has taken her home
To dwell with him forever,
Where harm can never come.
Those who would spurn the innocents,
I fear will never wear
The crown of life and glory
Which she possesses there.
Of course we never can forget
The little loving smiles,
The idol of our sorrows
Could the darkest hour beguile.

NOTE: Annie May DORRIS was born in November of 1876. She was interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa.
