NOTICE of DEATH.

DIED--At Kellerton, December 26, 1890, Melcena BARRETT, wife of J. P. DICKENSON (sic). She was born at Monmouth, Ills., 1858 in the month of September, 1888 (sic). She passed away at her brother's house, G. L. GARRETT (sic), Dec. 22d. in the 32d year of her age. She professed faith in Christ and was baptized twelve years ago in Story county, this state. Funeral services were held at the Christian church by Rev. A. H. CHASE and J. L. ROWE.

NOTE: John P. DICKINSON, husband of Melcena (BARRETT) was born on January 14, 1851, and died June 27, 1930 with interment at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Iowa. Melcena and John P. were the parents of three children: Orpha Leota who died in infancy, Gilbert L., and Mary Ethel DICKINSON. Melcena was interred at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Iowa.
