OBITUARY - MARIA LOUISE (AUTHENRIETH) COURTNEY

Maria Louise (AUTHENRIETH) COURTNEY was born on August 17, 1853, and died October 23, 1926. On December 27, 1870, she was united in marriage to Howard W. COURTNEY. To this union were born six children - Mrs. O. W. BROWN of Afton, Iowa; Mrs. B. H. REYNOLDS of Tingley, Iowa; Mrs. J. M. ENGLAND of Tingley, Iowa; Mrs. H. D. McKIBBEN of Bangor, Michigan; Charles COURTNEY of Ellston, Iowa; and William J. COURTNEY, who died this past August.

NOTE: Maria was interred at Tingley Cemetery, Tingley, Ringgold County, Iowa. William J. COURTNEY, son of Howard W. and Maria Louise, was born on May 16, 1882, and died on August 16, 1926. He was married to Martha (?). He was interred at Tingley Cemetery.
