Brian H. Jobes, 63, of Grinnell, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012, at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Interment will be at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday at St. Mary's Religious Education Center, 1013 Broad Street in Grinnell. The family will be present to greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday evening. A rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. at St. Mary's Religious Education Center.

Brian is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rosemary Jobes of Grinnell; his children, Jennifer (Bryan) Gill of Grimes, IA and Jeremy (Aimee) Jobes of Ankeny, IA; and 4 grandchildren, Alexa, Carson, Cade and Jackson Gill of Grimes.
