Malcolm E. Cox, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cox, died at Montezuma as as{sic} result of drinking kerosene. The child got the oil from a can which the mother kept in the kitchen for starting fires.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1912 and is buried in the Masonic IOOF Cemetery.
