Charles Springer, a farmer, was killed at Treynor by a gasoline explosion. As soon as he had his apparatus going the gas which had been generated in the tank exploded, blowing out the entire end. One piece of the tank with a sharp point was driven through his brain. He lived, only a short time after he was found.
Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born July 12, 1872 and died March 16, 1913. He is buried in Carson Cemetery.
